Forum, a new co-working concept, is to open in downtown Coral Gables this month at 275 Alhambra Circle. The new venture offers business support services like onsite business coaching, administrative support, accounting services and so on, so members can prioritize growing their business.
Forum, which began pre-leasing in May, is owned and operated by Location Ventures, a Miami-based real estate investment and development firm that integrates a platform of wellness and technology throughout its portfolio in the the Coral Gables community.
The coronavirus has led to a rethinking of what we know as The Office.
“The launch of Forum in Downtown Coral Gables will serve as an optimal alternative for those currently working from home or cautious about returning to a large corporate office setting. During this time of uncertainty, our goal is to provide reliable, private office space while catering to the genuine diverse needs of each member,” said Rishi Kapoor, CEO of Location Ventures, in announcing the launch of Forum.
“This co-working model takes the next step to deliver strategic and streamlined resources intended to boost the growth and performance of our members’ businesses,” he said to Miami Today.
Forum focuses on private suites for one to six people which comprise 90% of its leasable office space. Memberships include access to the lounge and common areas, meeting rooms, and printing credits.
Private and dedicated internet service will be available at no additional cost, the company said. Plans for the future call for an are dedicated to curated member programming, exclusive on-site seminars, and more.
As companies return to work, many are re-evaluating their traditional office functions and looking to co-working as a flexible alternative, with private spaces to rotate employees or maintain essential team members during this time.
Location Ventures says Forum has implemented precautions to aid in the safety of its team and members. Those initiatives include regular health screenings for staff, one-way hallways for limited exposure at close-contact points, increased cleaning of all areas, and installation of touch-less hand sanitizing stations throughout.
Pricing for workspace starts at $350 and private office space starts at $800.
The company says this membership offering is a key differentiator for the brand.
